Heat pump - no water on the ground

So maybe I am just used to florida a/c window units in houses though should not my jayco skylark heat pump (cool cat think it is called) be dripping water under the trail trailer when the a/c is running inside? Don’t know, maybe heat pump ac/heaters don’t drip water outside.

Darn see no option to edit thread title. Meant to type ‘no water on the ground’. Dam spell check correction.

If you have a Coolcat it should have two drain tubes coming out of the condensate pan. Jayco did such a crappy install on mine the tubes were crushed so the pan overflowed and water ran out near the tire. I bought a marine thru hull fitting and drilled a hole in the bottom of the pan for the thru hull to drain, problem solved.

You may not have water dripping. Many window units use a slinger fan that throws the water onto the condenser coil where it evaporates.

Use "GO ADVANCED" to edit title

Your heat pump has (should have) two drain tubes located just behind the curved aluminum skirting. Here is a photo of the ones on my 2011 21FKV.
