heater not coming on

Hello, newbie here.....we have a Jayco Jayflight 2015 and it is set up in a long term campsite. We recently had to unhook it and move it due to a flooded campsite and when we returned it onsite and hooked it back up, the heater wouldn't come on. The thermostat clicks when you increase the temp, but the fans do not come on, no heat whatsoever. Checked fuses and propane, all good.

any ideas?

There may be another slide switch at the top of thermostat that you need to slide over. On ours it take a little force to move the switch. Don't forget to switch it off when not in use!

Is your battery charged, furnace needs 12v to run.

Does stove top light - air in propane lines?

It has been plugged in to the electric since Saturday, so Iwould assume it is fully charged.

If the lights go on ( they are 12 volt ) then the furnace should be getting power.

Check the fuse to the furnace.

If Thermostat is turned on and set to heat does the fan come on but no heat?

If so it is not lighting. If not, check wiring fuse, everything.

If fan runs and no heat after about 2 minutes, check the burner, is it getting gas? Does the pilot lighting sequence work? Check for gas on, purge the lines by running the stove. No gas at the stove, tank shut off, empty?

Read your manual, some furnaces have a switch near the fan that turns on the pilot if the fan blows it shut. It is a safety to prevent burner with no fan.

Look for junk, wasp nests, dust, cobwebs in the burner and pilot light area. Clean it with a soft brush (tooth?) and computer air blast.

After all that, ask around the neighborhood for help. Lots of RVers out there! Many will come over.

Thermostat clicks on, but the fan never starts running. All fuses have been checked, stove works. The camper had been sitting without power for a couple of weeks, it worked fine before. Propane is full.

Sounds like a dead battery, if it sat for a few weeks and you don't have a disconnect you may have drained and killed the battery, you need to test it.
