Hitch/Coupler Lock - 28BHBE

Hi, all. New owner here. I have a 2015 Eagle BHBE. We're going to store it in a semi-secure area but, i'd still like to have a lock on the hitch/coupler. i've tried a few of the cheap ones from Amazon but none fit. Im tempted to go with the much more expensive AMP Lock (~$300 USD) but, even those don't seem fit based on their drawings. What do you all use/recommend for a trailer of this size?

Thanks!

Looks nice. I use the California immobilizer lock.

Just about everyone can be pried off or quick cut with a cordless grinder. But it does keep the opportunist walking on by. Another one to consider is your battery. There have been many reports of them growing legs and walking off in storage lots.

We supplement our hitch lock with a good solid motorcycle chain/cable lock, threaded through the wheels and the suspension.

Again, easily enough removed if you happen to have a battery grinder or a good pair of bolt cutters about you, but, as already noted, all you can do is make it awkard or noisy to steal your unit, and hope that the thieves will look for easier pickings

We will also be fitting a not-so-subtly obvious alarm...

I agree. Locks mostly keep honest people honest.
