3" memory foam topper from Costco and never looked back. Took some time to get use to becuse there is no recoiling on a memory foam but a better night sleep has been the result of the change. I also added 1.5" egg crate foam to my boys teddy bear bunk mattress and what a difference that made for them. They love it!

Happy trails.

I second the Sleep Number suggestion, although we went with Comfortaire. A tad less expensive due to lower marketing expenses and, I believe, an older company. Wound up buying another one for the home.

We just bought this one to go in our 2018 Jayco SLX which has the very hard made for Jayco mattress. We also have a 4" memory foam topper, but it probably is not necessary for most. It's more comfortable than our bed at home now. We love it.

We've gone to 4" of memory foam and could probably add 2" more. It's all about the Benjamin's...

We have about 60 nights on this one. It is without a doubt the best upgrade we have done to date... I was a bit worried about going with the 7 inch but have no problem with it at all.

We got this one on sale during Prime day for $140. Green Tea Infused Memory Foam. Its is a 12". The problem is the length on my 27BH. The front of the trailer is titled in so this 12" really makes it difficult to go around the end of the bed. It sleeps Great. They do sell a 10" Queen short. If it goes on sale, I will buy it and use the queen in the house.

Note, memory are a challenge to move about because they are flexible. Make sure you unpack this thing in the camper. It comes in a box about 1.5'x1.5'x3'.
