Looking forward to meet you guys and learn from all you guys experiences since im a total rookie. lol. I would like to ask a quick question, I have to replace the outside kitchen cabinet top cause is water damaged. Any idea where to get a replacement or DIY? It would help to answer your question if you could post a picture of what you need to replace. I would think that it would not be too hard to fabricate a new countertop.

If you do a search, there have also been multiple posts about finding RV/Trailer salvage yards or sites that may be able to help. One note: the search function for the site can be frustrating to use at times, but don't give up. The info is out there, you just may have to sift through a lot to find it!

Places like Home Depot and Lowes sell countertop material which is chipboard with a nice picture glued to the top called Laminate.

Alternatively, consider finding a small shop the installs kitchen countertops for a scrap that would work.

I build and install cabinets for a living. Real easy project to do. Lowes, Home Depot, Menards etc all carry slab counter tops in many colors. I would simply suggest that you remove your old ones gently and use them as a template to cut the new piece to fit. Also a very important step. Make sure to use a laminate blade in the jig saw when cutting your pieces out. I know Bosch makes them(I use them every day). The teeth are oriented to cut on the downward stroke so it doesn't pull up on the laminate and chip the top surface. Use painters tape or a good masking tape to trace your template on. If that makes sense. Laminate is hard to get a good clean cutting line on. Not sure exactly how your counters are held down but I would guess a good construction adhesive should do the job. If you try to use screws make sure they aren't to long that they go through the new tops. Can't count how many times I've grabbed the wrong screws for the job and poked a unrepairable hole through one. GL

Question Heater won't fire

I have a year old Jayco Jayflight with forced air furnace with digital thermostat. I have lent it to my brother and when he turns on the thermostat, the forced air fan starts but the burner does not start. Thethermostat is set to heat and the set point is much higher than ambient temp. Propane is turned on and other gas appliances work. Please help us troubleshoot.

Luis, welcome to the family! You might also look at the big box stores for a composite replacement. Hope you have many smooth miles and happy CG’s.
