New TT with AC problems

Hi Everyone,
We I have a new 2020 29RKS that has had a number of issues. The latest is the AC. It only runs in high fan mode and does not cool down the air. It will run non stop until it is turned off at the thermostat It will not run on low fan or on auto mode. Has anyone else experienced this and if so what was the resolution. Also I think I'd like to upgrade the thermostat to a more digital and user friendly one. The HVAC system is Dometic. Our previous TT had a Carrier system with remote control. Never had an issue. Could run the fan on H, M, or L with or without cooling. Kind of disappointed that a brand new unit will not cool. Any and all comments appreciated

You should be able to tell if the compressor has kicked in or not. Sounds like just the fan is operating possibly due to them wiring the thermostat incorrectly.

The thermostat simply sends 12 volts to the fan and the compressor separately. This can be measured at the thermostat wiring.

I changed over to digital thermostats immediately with my new rig and that change is worth its weight in gold. By all means do it, you will love it.

We have a Dometic in our 28RLS. The fan setting should be in "auto" mode or the fan will run all the time.
