Newbie Questions Part 2

Our 1st weekend out as new Trailer owners was a huge success, we have learned a lot and I need to organize some stuff for sure, but I also need to find a good deal on a full cover, power surge protector as well as the propane tank covers, any suggestions? Jayco Jayflight SLX 264BHW, love her! We have been tent campers for 10 years so know a lot about camping but this is a little overwhelming lol any other things you think are a must have pls feel free to help a girl out! TY

The place I always start when looking for goodies is Amazon. Lots of selections and many reviews to read, once I figure what I want a quick Google search of the web to find the best price. I usually find Amazon has the best price, and quick delivery.

Thank you, I had surgery today so have all day to search tomorrow. Will check out Amazon! Hubby has been looking on Jayco's site but I figured we could find things cheaper elsewhere

X2 on Amazon. Good prices, good selection and fast delivery. We have enjoyed shopping for all of the "must haves" for our new TT. Kind of like Christmas every week!

Look at this bed support modification that you will probably need to do on your 264bhw.

Congrats on the new trailer! We just bought the same one a few months ago! We purchased about 95% of everything so far on Amazon. I would recommend getting the propane cover to accommodate larger tanks in case you ever decide to upgrade the tanks. Plus I think it looks better in proportion to the size of the trailer. We got this one.

https://www.amazon.com/Camco-40539-H...+propane+cover

I also did a mod under the bed to add support since there was NONE to begin with. Added two "walls" as well as a support to stiffen the piece on the wall. It was only held in by 4 screws to begin with. Pictures attached.

More mods are coming soon enough. Opening up the space above the microwave is next!

I would love to see how you open up the space above the microwave I was thinking wow what a waste lol. Someone else on FB posted their mod for the queen bed too. My hubby is a big buff guy so we must do something asap. Here is what they did....I just took screen shots

I am just a big guy so I had to do the same lol. That is a good solution as well I just wanted to add support to the floating piece on the wall.

Here is a link to what I will be doing above the microwave. Big open spot that's closed off for no reason!

The entire mod thread is good if you have a few hours to read it lol.
