Pre trip maintenance tiday, have questions and found a few concerns

We have a short trip coming up next weekend so I began pretrip prep today.
Questions:
Should the leaf springs/shackles or pivot points be lubricated somehow? I didn't see a grease zerk and they we're all dry so don't believe they have ever been oiled.
What does everyone use for safety chain attachment to the TT. Mine are a single chain, hook on each end with a single bolt in the center link attaching it to the trailer tongue. (Not good)
I also jacked up each wheel to check for play, 3 out of 4 wheel bearings we're slightly loose. They only needed a little twist to the next "notch" on the castle nut but loose either way. (Glad I caught that)
I think I still need to check brake adjustment.
Concern:
I ran out the antifreeze, rinsed the holding tank then flushed the water system with fresh water. Still had a slight chemical smell. It is now full of bleach water to sterilize the water system. Problem is I found a small leak at the cold water inlet to the hot water tank. Just a drip but not sure how to fix it with the fittings involved. See pic below.
Not sure how or where to get the proper fittings to stop this leak. Thanks for any help or advice in any of the above.

It's good to go through things periodically.

Most suspensions are not lubricated.

As for the water leak, where is it leaking? You might be able to lose the pex fitting, and then tighten up the fitting that is dripping. I did that a couple times on my water heater. Last time, I took it all apart and applied new pope dope, and Teflon tape. I'm sure it is good for life now.

Old timers used to apply brake fluid to the suspension parts as a lubricant.

The fitting on the bottom going into the hot water tank. It's not leaking from the threads but from around the collar that draws it tight when you turn it. It's the elbow fitting that connects to the copper inlet pipe.
