Screw holes in roof! Roof punctured

I just started cleaning my roof when I discovered 8 holes in 2 groups of four along the back edge my roof. Each was about the size of a pencil eraser in diameter. I could see the heads of the screws down some of the holes.

I ordered some 2 inch Etearnabond and got it this morning. I covered the whole back edge of the roof from side to side and it started raining an hour later.
I am wondering to my self why I never saw these holes before. The screws had not worked up but were a quarter inch down inside the holes.

A bit of a mystery but at least I caught it before any major damage done.



I am going back when the rain stops and put a protective layer across the top of the trailer where the roof is stressed where the edges of the plywood pieces meet.


Anybody else see something like this??

Could you post some photos where the roof is stressed?

The screw & hole relationship is odd.
