Slide out Actuator Hole in Frame - Mouse/Rat Access?

I just purchased a 2011 Jayco Jayflight 29QBH. It is in amazing condition and was very well taken care of or rarely used.
While going thought it we opened under the couch and found a lot of what looked like mouse or rat dropping. Decided to look more and found a lot more under the center of U shaped dinette. After inspecting them, they appear to be old dropping and I see no signs of rodent anywhere else.
Decided to inspect under unit and I checked every inch along the edges and though out the bottom and I could not find anywhere that anything could have gotten in, until I came to the slide out actuator hole. While closed there is a metal cone device that covers it, but while open there is nothing to keep a rodent from going inside. So, my uneducated guess is this is where they were coming it.
So, my long story short....I know, to late. Do they make something or does anyone have a suggestion on what to use to cover this opening around actuator while slide is open, or that could even be left in while it is closed?
Thanks

During my extended stay camping I stuff some aluminum foil into the hole opening when the slide is extended (open). I also place a small post-it next to the slide open/close switch as a "remove foil" reminder

I focus on filling the holes in the floor, not the holes in the frame or comoplast. IMO it is next to impossible to effectively eliminate access points below the floor.

Well, I don't believe it's impossible. But leaving a 2" hole opening it the frame provides a nice place for them to go live under the floor. Not really interested in having that either. I will just stuff something in there to plug it when extended and as someone suggested, a post-it note to remind me to remove it.
