Spare tire cover coming off

The spare tire on our Jayco is mounted in the rear bumper and it has a spare tire cover on it that just slips over the tire. I’ve lost 2 of these in the past while traveling because they blow off and almost lost our current spare tire cover while pulling it home after buying it. I usually just pull it off before traveling.

My question- is there a spare tire cover out there that will stay on during travel without having to tie a string around it or something similar?

I definitely want a cover over the tire when not traveling for UV protection I just know at some point I’m going to forget again and lose the cover.

I bought a new cover for my spare and it fits pretty snugly.

There are quite a few differents sizes, so maybe you could try one that's sized a little smaller.

I bought this one. It has elastic and a draw string in the back. Hasn't budged since I put it on...

No problem! Maybe with the one you have now you could mount 4 grommets, at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions around the edge and secure it to the tire with a couple of bungee cords.

We bought a cover from this place a couple or three years ago and it's still there. They have a variety of sizes and tell you how to size a cover based on the size of the tire.

They have some cool designs if you're so inclined.
