Suggestions or Tips on FW Tank Removal

I have a Jayflight 24FBS. I wish to remove the fresh water tank to replace the fill hose. Any suggestions on how to support the empty tank from below while I remove the screws? It is all accessible from underneath the RV. It appears all I need to do is remove the bracket screws.

You might center a floor jack under it, but I don't know how long the fill hose is to allow lowering it. A couple of friends to help hold it underneath and lower it slow and easy might be a better idea. Just enough to get access to the hose clamp on the tank. It won't be too heavy empty, just bulky.

I can see where out hoses goes through the floor and connect to the tank on our model. The hole they cut in the floor is almost 8" and would allow access, although it might be a bit of a challenge.

What year is your TT? Do you have an enclosed underbelly?

My water tank is held in place by a couple long crossbeams, that clamp a flange on the tank in place. From what I recall this crossmember is riveted in place, and would not be easy to reinstall.

How big is the hole from the topside? The hole is decent size on my TT, and I am fairly sure I could use a micro socket wrench to access the radiator clamp. If not, I would consider enlarge the hole slightly so, I could fit the wrench.

I would look at a couple jack stands, or a couple pieces of 2x4 screwed together.

The year is a 2010 and the underbelly is exposed. Didn't notice a riveted member but I haven't really looked that close. That would be a pain. I haven't thought about accessing through the fill hole. I will take that flange off and take a look. Good idea. Thanks for the jack stands and 2x's thought. I have a large shop with an overhead door tall enough that I can back the trailer in and work off a level surface. Unfortunately I am a one man band. Can't ask the wife to lay under there with me....
