Tote Storage Ladder Mount

I am wondering if any of you are using a mount for your ladder to put your black water tote tank? Anyone using this one.

Thetford 40830 Tote Storage System Ladder Mount

Found it on Amazon. Would use it on my 2017 Whitehawk.

Interested in your comments before I buy this.

I made my own hook out of Aluminum rod from Home Depot, then held it place with bungees.

Fortunately, I've never had a reason to carry a black tank tote with me. And if I did, I wouldn't hang it on my ladder.

Well, I just towed the trailer 1000+ miles with that setup and had no problem whatsoever. I guess confidence and common sense go a long way towards success.

Jayco cautions against it, but what do they know.
