Vortex I I Fan.

Has anyone in installed the Vortex 2 fan?
Since my 21fbs has only one roof
Vent, I need a fan that can move some air.
I am not really wanting to completely remove
and replace the whole roof fan & vent.

I put one in my trailer last year. The vortex 2 is a perfect fit in the vent. You should be able to fish wires from a the closest ceiling light. they move a fair amount of air. they are not excessively loud but not as quiet as a Fantastic fan. Good value compared to Fantastic fan price.

I've had a Turbo/Maxx fan on my TT for over 10 years. It's been reliable and effective at moving large volumes of air through the TT. The thermostat is handy as you don't have to get up in the middle of the night to turn it off. It can be a little noisy; especially at higher speeds, so I would recommend not mounting it in a bedroom unless that's your only option. When not in use, it serves as a Maxx/Air cover and permits you keep your roof vent open for year 'round ventilation. The fan can be run during inclement weather, but I would suggest using it in exhaust mode during these times to avoid drawing the rain into the fan.

When using the fan on exhaust in a bathroom, you might want to open your bathroom door fully before you flush. Otherwise, fumes can be drawn up from black tank due to the partial vacuum that's created with the door closed.
