2014 Coachman Catalina 38 BH, park model.
41 ft 9 inches, 8399 lbs shipping weight.
Not everyone gets the opportunity to haul a park model so if you do take it. 42 ft of bumper pull trailer creates some interesting towing situations lol. They are taller, greater ground clearance, and have poor aerodynamics so you are aware they are back there without a doubt.
Two pics to show size perspective...

Hope everyone enjoyed the holiday wknd.
Hitting the road in 5 minutes, off to get another one. Not sure what yet but the dealership I'm delivering to does not sell many park models so should be a 5er or bumper pull.

Question for greenenvy1: What restrictions do they require you regarding going inside the rig you are towing.
Another for instance, if you had a problem on the road with a tire or wheel bearing, who do you contact?

I am not sure if I have seen this asked or stated in this thread, but what is the smallest trailer you have hauled? My neighbour had a Little Guy Five Wide delivered to his house and he guy showed up towing it with a one ton dually. It looked funny back there and overkill for a tow vehicle for sure.

I know some people sleep in the trailers , I prefer my truck...feels more secure. We have a dispatch to call for trailer issues.
Think the lightest one was under 5000lbs.

Jinxed myself when I said it would probably not be a park model ......
2014 Crossroads Hampton 400 FL park model. 43 feet, 10,500 lbs. Axles are so close together on these it certainly does not make the towing experience any better. No wind atleast! They had a tornado warning near Lansing, MI as I was headed by so I took hwy 94 instead of the 69 for a change.

You mentioned that you get paid for a loaded mile, do you often get a back haul towards the factory and how far is it typically if not. Is your company helpful with trying to keep your unloaded miles down. That is a whole lotta trailer too. Keep up the good work.

We rarely do backhauls. Personally have not done one yet.

Just got home from a 8 day 5227 mile trip. Moved 2 trailers and made a side trip to Columbia, MO to pick up a truck part. Pics tomorrow once I unwind and stop moving lol.

First trailer was a 2014 Keystone Larado 335TG. Towed well as most 5ers do IMHO. Even had a 250 mile stretch of 2 lane hwy instead of the interstate for a change. I find that this size 5er always delivers between 10-12 mpg averaging around 64-66 MPH.
Length 37'8"
Width 8'0"
Height 12'7"
shipping weight was 10, 635 lbs.
Then I made a side trip south
Second trailer was a 2014 Crossroads Zinger 31BH. Fairly light model with the spread axles. Almost seemed to light of pin weight when empty (1536 lbs) for the one ton.
Dry Weight:
8356
Hitch Weight:
1536
Axle Weight:
6820
Exterior Length:
34'11"

The lady and I went on the Jayco Factory Tour yesterday in Indiana and the tour guide told me that Jayco used to have its own transport team but last year they changed to a company called Starfleet. I remember someone asking about that previously. As always, keep the pics and updates coming, I love reading about your travels.

I have hauled several Jaycos and see just about every RV Transport company hauling them as well. Starfleet does seem to move the majority of them though.

Thanks! Glad to hear people enjoy reading about this.
Quite easy to get into really. If you have a 3/4 or 1 ton and clean drivers abstract you are in lol!

I have seen this thread but never took the time to read it. Once I got started I was hooked. Kinda like my wife when she read that Fifty Shades of Gray series of books. Speaking of wives, how did your wife like the trip she took with you on one of your deliveries?

Wife loved it! Well she hated the first day but we did log around 850 miles so that is to be expected. After that she was good, have had two other trips together planned but fell through due to her work and our kids (4) obligations.

I was out of town this week for work. Sitting in a Walmart parking lot at 6am was a new in transport Winnebago MH with a broken drive shaft. I have a feeling that makes for a bad day, as he was not making any money until the rig was fixed.
