No 9 volt in my blue bag from Jayco, and sure enough no battery in my smoke detector. Just installed one. I have a 2017 377

I did not have a battery in either smoke alarm in my Pinnacle. The one in main part of RV had two screws to mount it, but only one was ho!ding it on.

Mods to 377 RLBH?

This kinda sums it up. Thanks everyone for chiming in. I told the Jayco service writer last Monday that there was no 9v battery shipping in the smoke detector and that they need to either place a yellow tag or leave the cover hanging down so that the new owner can see it easily and not get a big surprise much later like I(we) did a couple weeks ago. If anyone new is reading this now, please check your smoke detector’s battery.

I think Klassic had some problems too but his north point isn’t a 377

I've not had any suspension problems, but since I've upgraded the tires to the Sailun's I have had a much stiffer ride inside with regards to "things" coming loose inside, such as trim and other things. That's why my I think my next upgrade will be shocks.

I have no complaints with the Sailuns...other than they are REALLY stiff!

Dan you should try dropping you psi down about 5 or so...........it won't be as stiff a ride

I did...I went from 110 to 105 and on this last trip the trim above the dinette started to fall down. I caught it at the half way point in Hattiesburg, MS and had to drill a hole and add a screw to hold it. Since we've been back I put some wood putty, but I need to stain to match. I didn't say anything earlier, because i didn't think it was that big of a deal. I know that the center crown on the same dinette slide completely fell off some time last year when i was running 110 psi, which is why I backed off to 105. I just think these heavy 5'ers need some kind of suspension relief while rolling down the highway. IMHO Tom made a good decision putting the shocks on. That will be my next "big" ticket item that I add.

Well I think I ripped the tv antenna off my trailer I found it on the side of the road around the corner from the house opposite a low tree branch. I’ll have to go to storage tomorrow and see how bad it really is. Click image for larger version

I do have covered storage. I’m hoping the base is still attached to the roof. Non of my neighbors have trailers so I’m pretty sure it’s mine.

My 16 is sprung over. Really interested in springing under and putting springs in highest setting.

Sorry, Jayco told me they were going to replace Morryde 3000 with Morryde 4000 but the dealer they told me to use said it would be Jan. before they could do it. They told me I could use a private rv repair shop. They looked at it and summited repair to Jayco but it this past Tues. so just waiting to see if it works out.

Mods to 377 RLBH?

2 for 1 here- I have the springs under the axle like 2naEagle and it looks like Lippert shocks cannot fit this arrangement so apparently only the Joy Riders are my only choice when it comes time to install shocks as 2naEagle did on his rig last year and they look great. He recently added the SRE4000 and has yet to test. These two upgrades are about as far as you can go on suspension upgrades, and am anxious to hear his review. I know for myself I’m tired of the severe chucking I get on certain highways.

Update- My Sailun tire expert ‘ACE’, said for me to lower my tire pressure down to 70 psi to curtail the shoulder rib wear that tire specialists refer to as ‘the river’. I’ve got 15k on the tires, mostly at 85 psi, and they all have similar wear like this(driver side front):Click image for larger version

ID:	42834Click image for larger version

Name:	IMG_2339.jpg
Views:	49

And here’s his reply to my question why are they wearing this way:
“The bouncing you describe for such a short period of time is not likely the culprit of your shoulder wear. This shoulder (river – what we tire guys call it) wear is a result of a much longer distance traveled. This condition is a characteristic of radial tires on a free rolling axle. It is more prevalent where the tire is over-inflated because the footprint is not flat on the road. There is a radius to the footprint that causes the shoulders to be raised off the asphalt slightly. There is a natural squirm created. If it was the bounce causing an issue it would be more of a cupping at about 4-6” intervals around the tire. Essentially, the center three ribs are carrying all the load (and wearing evenly) and the shoulder ribs are trying to keep up.

I reviewed your weight versus the table again. You are safe as low as 65 psi when carrying 12,300 lbs. I would recommend you lower you pressures to 70 psi. It is difficult to overcome or correct this wear pattern but, you may be able to slow the process by getting the footprint flat on the road. It may also help with the “bouncing” you described in rougher road conditions. There is no cause for concern with this wear pattern. Just keep an eye on it. I’m not sure it will help but you could try rotating from one side to the other.”
