Inside walls bulging at seams
Hi, we are new to the RV world and love it. We have a Jayco and the inside walls are bulging at the seams. Has anyone had this issue?

Welcome to JOF
If you could post the year and model of your RV that would be helpful....., and location of the bulging seams.
Pics would be great if possible

We have a 2020 Jayco 175RD Baja trailer. The walls are in three locations. They are on both sides of the walls in the dinette area and on the wall at the head of the bed. I'll attach pictures.
Do you think this is a warranty issue? We bought it in May 2020 and have only used it a few times.
Thank you very much for your assistance.

I'd start with showing them to your dealer, and see what he says about them. I would think it's a warranty issue.

Hard to tell, but almost looks like the cosmetic tape over the panel joints......, and I agree a dealer service warranty inspection is best.
I would insist that your RV dealer generated a service warranty document so you have a paper trail (get copy)......, irregardless of the dealer's inspection determination.

Follow Bob's advice and get it documented and keep copies of everything...

Thank you for all the suggestions. The wall is actually bulging out where it is taped. We've had two other issues with the trailer already that we fixed ourselves.

Definitely requires an RV dealer inspection.

We are currently dealing with the same issue on our 2018 Jayco 264BH. It is a warranty issue and the dealership is where you should start.

We love our trailer but there definitely have been issues. We are lucky because our dealer has been great to deal with.

What Do The Others Look Like
While at the dealer and before you speak to anyone about service, take a look at a similar model on the lot. Does it do the same thing?

.....seams
I have had several issues with my 2018 Jayco. My deal ship did such bad repairs I fixed that myself. Looks like it happens where to sheets of paneling meet and one is secures and the other sheet is taped to match the panel. I assume when it gets warm and the glue on the tape softens it bulges. I bought very small headed nails, colored to match and fasten that piece bulging, the nail is not vey noticeable. I had ceiling and wall I secured. It you have a good dealer they may fix it and do good. If I carried mine back for everything that was not right and things they broke and screwed up it would still be on the lot. Good luck!
