99% of times its a waste of money and time.

That’s why I use Centramatic Balancers...

Balance them. I rotate and balance all my tires on all my vehicles and trailers. Tires do not come from the factory exactly the same. I used to work for Goodyear at an OE plant years ago and like anything else as long as they are within a certain spec they pass quality control.

I have Maxxis Tires on my 298BHS. Which by the way, the trailer came with LR C tires that I changed out to the Maxxis at LR E same as my Dodge Ram 2500. I also run the Maxxis at full sidewall pressure of 80 psi. More tire than the trailer requires helps me sleep at night. To answer the question, I balance all 4 plus the spare.

Balance them. Our original TT were not balance and wore out very quickly. Also get the metal valves. We had some non metal and they started leaking.

Also, get a TPMS. It can save you some big costs and hassles!

New 5th wheel tires need balancing?

I have had two different 5th wheels todate. Learning the hard way, 2 tires on my first machine blew after about 3000 miles. I was told they were balanced...not. On my second machine, told the same thing, after about 2000miles, one tire went half bald. I had the axles aligned. They were way out of specs. Be aware.

I balanced all mine using balance beads inside the tire. They come in packages sized for the tires. These are used in a lot of commercial tire applications. Seems to work well.

I'm leaning towards balancing?

Any thoughts????
(How about?): "Stupid NOT to balance", as a bouncing -out-of-balance can wear a spot/ spots to the cord in 150-miles?
