River Cities RV Park in Boyce, LA. Very unusual park but very nice. Only 38 spaces but all are huge very level concrete pads with grass on both sides. No office on site. You need to enter with a code to open the gate.

Just returned from 9 days at Twilight on the Erie RV Resort in Macedon, NY. The annual family camp get together, and it was great fun!
And, we only had one frog-floater all week.

I guess the country jargon is coming out in me. It's when we get a torrential downpour of a rainstorm, and there's a lot of standing water everywhere...floating the frogs.

If you're in farm country it's called a "chip floater".

Camping de le Diable

Spent another quick trip up at Mont-Tremblant in Quebec. A nice private campground, it was very quiet with school starting this week in Quebec.

The weather was perfect, sunny and warm during the days and cool at night. The Diable River was a little lower and we had to portage over a sandbar during our lazy river runs. It's a nice 45-60 minute float to the camp beach.

We had three families up at the campground and the kids had a great time!

It was our third trip with the new trailer and everything worked great!

Headed to Yosemite tomorrow evening. Staying outside the park at an RV resort. Can't wait to leave work behind for a few days!

In about a week we’ll head to West Texas for a week then a week at Lake Caballo, NM then back home to Texas. It will be our first with a towed vehicle and should be an adventure!

In a week, we're heading to Myrtle Beach for a couple of days, and then up to OBX.

If they're still there....
