Sounds like it might be plugged with something.

Maybe to much TP? Better determine the correct problem and then take action accordingly.

in my old grey hawk the toilet was a straight dump from toilet to tank. in the precept looks like there an elbow stuff has to maneuver before going to the tank. anyway the pipe fills with or without tp.

Did it just start, or did it always flush slow? Rent or borrow a flexible inspection camera to check the pipe.

Another possibility is that the straight black pipe connected to the floor closet flange wasn't cut-back properly thus restricting adequate solid flow into the tank......, this warranty issue has been reported before.

You don’t mention what model you have so I was wondering if you have only a single bath with 1 toilet or a bath and a half model with 2 toilets. As previously mentioned has it always been like this or is it intermittent? Is it possible something got dropped through the opening? The dealer (or Jayco) will eventually fix it but if you want to use it in the short term you may have to run a snake through it to try and clear any blockages/obstructions. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

Might not have enough water in the tank and as a result, the deposited stuff instead of spreading out is piling up! I HAVE HAD THAT HAPPEN IF I DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH WATER IN THE BLACK TANK.

Crappy subject

The Precept 35S (2016) has at least 2 90 degree turns before reaching the tank. Too much paper and the wrong type of paper tends to clog in the bends. Effective use requires periodic flushing using copious amounts of water while attending to your natural needs. Water is your friend here, keep it flowing.

Do not open your black tank valve while hooked up to a sewer, keep the tank valve closed until the tank is nearly full and then open it. You need a lot of water in the tank in order for it to drain itself of solids.

Use a clear elbow on the sewer hose so you can observe the material. If you see large clumps of paper, you are using the wrong type. Good RV paper should dissolve in water, not clump.

Be especially mindful of children using the toilet, as distasteful as it may be they need to be educated in proper use of your RV toilet or you will be responsible for the cleanup afterwards.

thanks. I follow all those recommendations and am midful of the type of paper used. no children in the family with which to be concerned. It concerns me that there are two 90 degree angles to negotiate a flush of solids to the tank. that coupled with a seemingly low water pressure that does not adequately propel the solids through the piping could also be an issue. thanks again for the info I do appreciate the comments. I'll reassess our methods and make modifications as needed. hope to get this cleared up soon.

Did you get this resolved? I had this issue on my new Alante, seems the *Tech* installing the drain used way too much adhesive and some of it formed a ridge inside the pipe, catching paper and solids causing the backup. Used a snake and a mirror to break it out, no issues since.

thanks JesseS. that's what I'm thinking. the rig goes in for service soon on other issues so I think I'll....for now... let the warranty service staff solve the problem.

Had a problem with a stoppage to plug at 90 degree bend below toilet. Boiled two large pans of water on stove, pored them down toilet and then drained tank. Hooked up clean out hose turned it on for 30 seconds with sewer hose valve closed then opened valve and drained tank.
