2014 18fdb Roof Plans for MaxxAir Installation

Hi there,

I've bought a 5100k for my trailer and would like to install it in the main living area.

How do I get a layout of the roof (I've seen others have them) to know where I can mount it.

There is a vent in the bathroom but I don't want to install it there.

THanks,
Phil

Send Jayco customer service an email or use the contact us form on their website. Tell them what you need, give them the serial number of your unit and in a few days they will send you the copies of the blueprints. I just did this, asked for plans of the walls and the roof with the intention of adding a MaxxAir vent in the roof, luckily there was framing roughed in already......... right where I planned on putting it.....hopefully you have the same luck.

Thanks, just did that actually. I gather you're grabbing power from the nearest light?

I did, the harness ran right next to the framing.........just need to ensure it's a 15 amp circuit and the light isn't controlled by a wall switch.
