Got you now bereta1.
Loose connection at junction box unless you find the wire cut along the way to the J-box.
Best regards.
Doug

Garry,
There is usually a cover plate that accepts Phillips head or flat head.
You can't see the head on the screw? Just sayin :-)
Best regards,
Doug

No, I couldn't. After about 30 minutes, I finally got one side loose, and, bent it down enough to get to all the wires. All are tight. Couldn't see a problem anywhere. I changed the receptacle, also. I cant't find anything. Oh well, I'll keep trudging along.

That's frustrating as heck bereta1.
We're you able to check for voltage on the wires in the J-box?
Electrical is usually a lot easier to find the problem because it follows the laws of physics and it takes the path of least resistance.
Wish you luck in finally putting this one to rest. I am confident you'll find the culprit.
If this wire comes from your bathroom, you may check the output side that feeds that J-box. It could be disconnected.
Other than that, I can't understand what would be the problem.
Kind regards,
Doug

If you have less than 115/120 volts at all outlets or just one you could have a loose or open neutral the white wire. if its all outlets then check your power cord if its only one then its on that circuit.

Well, I found it. It wasn't the J box that I was checking. Turns out, it is another J box that I can barely reach with my hand thru the cutout at the bottom of the slideout frame. This box is on the outside wall of the slideout. I see no easy way of getting to it. It's right beside the fender well housing. I hit the top of the box, and, the radio I had plugged in started working. It is definately a loose connection. Any suggestions? TKU

Doug, I fell so stupid. I extended the slideout, and, the box was right in my face. Don't know what I was thinking. The white, stranded ground wire was just barely making contact with the other ground wire. I loosened the wire nut, and, tightened them together. Outlet is working fine. You can edit your post, if you don't mind. It may not make me look so stupid. Experience is the best teacher. Thanks again, Garry

Success! Great job Gary. You learned a lot and seen the solution through.
Great job.
I'll delete my last post.
Kind regards,
Doug
