Mouse Free / Cab Fresh

The inevitable has happened - After 3 rodent free seasons and winter storage, mice have infiltrated my camper!! Prior to this past weekends trip I found evidence of them being in many places within my camper. I cleaned up and did the obvious, sealing any openings I found underneath. But what concerns me is I believe they have made their way to the small space between the ceiling and the roof. This was based on droppings I found in a ceiling light fixture as well as my daughter saying she heard something running around above her bunk.

Looking for thoughts on first, how to capture / kill and rid my camper of the mice that may in fact still be inside and second any opinions on the 2 products out there called Mouse Free or Cab Fresh to prevent a re-infestation?

I have set traps but the "Bait" is taken without the traps being activated so apparently the mice are too small to trip the traps.

Hopefully someone has first hand experience with either of the 2 products and some good suggestions on how to get rid of what might still be inside...

Even big mice will lick any soft baits right off the trigger without setting off the trap. When attempting to trap a mouse with a spring trap. I first tie a small piece of old Tee shirt to the trigger plate with some thread. Then I smear some peanut butter into the cloth. The mice will lick off any soft portions, but will pull on the cloth to get some more and they get whacked.

Add me to the Fresh Cab fan club. We store our camper in a covered shed in a rural area -- mouse heaven. We've been using Fresh Cab since we had the pop-up and have never had problem one.

Even if you think you may still have mice Fresh Cab will make them want to leave.

I have also had great results with Fresh Cab. Important to replace the packet every 30 to 45 days.

Pest Block Foam every single crack and crevice inside and out, Cab Fresh under every cabinet and inside every storage bay, and snap traps place strategically just in case all else fails. Mouse free for 2 years now, within the first couple months of ownership mice got in. I cleaned up the mess, learned my lesson, and implemented the above tactics.

Have used cab fresh for several years now. I put one on top of each tire, thinking they have to climb up somewhere and hang several under the hood. Has worked so far.
