Replacing front porch bulb

Another newbie question. Our 2016 slx287 BHSW has burned out the front porch (?) light. What should I use as a replacement and how do I keep the lens attached to the trailer afterwards? I’ve had to replace a side marker lens twice after it has blown off after replacing the bulb. Of course I can’t find anything in my owner’s manual.
Thanks in advance,
Steve

A picture would help for best information. On mine and my old one you just pinched it and the lens popped off. On some there is a little slot and gentle prying with a blade will also work. I replaced my conventional bulb with a flat led in yellow that works well and takes a tiny fraction of the power of a conventional bulb. kind of like this one, had to buy several but now have spares!
