We just got back to Georgia from a three week trip to Western NY (Finger Lakes region), northern New Hampshire and Vermont (incline RR up Mt. Washington) and a week in Bar Harbor Maine. Ate so much Lobster I almost (ALMOST) got sick of it. :-).
Leaves here in Georgia are going from Green to Brown to Down but in New England they were amazing. We were also incredibly impressed by Watkins Glenn State Park and Gorge in N.Y. Finger Lakes region - it was the unexpected highlight of our trip.
