I mostly plan our trips on a 60 mph speed and usually get 10 mpg. Not towing .

Our 26XD, 7.2 to 8.7 depending on terrain, wind and traffic conditions.

Thank you
Thank you all, picking up the XD Wednesday and heading out Friday on a 200 miles destination and dry camping for 2 nights. Should I fill the fresh water tank before I leave or fill up close to my destination to save on gas? Thanks

Frankly, I’d fill it. It won’t make much, if any, difference in your mileage. I feel it is important to have the water with you, in case of an emergency on the road. Enjoy your new unit and ride safely !!

.
I'm taking my RV orientation before picking up my XD, any suggestions to ensure fit and finish? I was under the impression that JAYCO is a quality unit.

You can expect anywhere from 6-10 MPG depending on numerous factors.
Enjoy your new rig!

I was pumping gas at a station out on the road, when a fellow on the opposite side of the pump ask me, that same question.
I said that if I had needed to know that, then maybe I shouldn't have bought the rig. It is what it is.
I just fill it, drive until the gauge says 1/2 full, and I fill it back up.
