Does anyone have any answer for the original question about a workaround to be able to mount bolt on wheel simulators versus the frisbee style snap in wheel simulators?

They make chrome simulators that your nuts hold on and then a cap is held on by screws! My new Greyhawk has knock on caps with valve attached to hub cap.

I've seen these, but don't have them. I'll be looking into this if or when one of mine pops off and can't be found.

These will not work on newer f450. Studs are not long enough!

I think I'll replace the two large flanged lug nuts with ones that are used on a Hummer. Same size stud but the flanged nut height is about 1/4 inch shorter. It should leave 6-8 threads visible to screw the adapters on. Part number is Dormant 611-054
