Removing the chrome wheel covers from a 22J

Has anyone removed the chrome wheel covers from their 22J? I know the steel rims underneath are white. I know white steel rims would not be "stylish".

I also know, right now, it would be much easier to check the air pressure in the tires. Would it be that "ugly," since the body of the 2018 22J is also white?

It's your coach, so you do whatever makes you happy. I've seen lots of motorhomes without any wheel covers, and didn't think for a minute that they were ugly...except the one with lime green wheels...that was ugly!

Don't quote me 100%, but the ones I had on my (very) old MH were held on with 1/2 of the lug nuts, that is every other one, so you could remove the covers without removing the wheels. The newer ones may be the same attachment method.
