While bringing in my slide on Redhawk 24B I noticed that the slide had somehow caught on the linoleum and tore it badly. I would post a pic but can't seem to figure out how. Has anyone had this problem??
On our 29RKS, we noticed "scratches / gouging" on the vinyl flooring...with the room in, I ran a yard stick under the slide and found a small rock / pebble trapped between the slide and floor. Eventually it would have torn the vinyl - FWIW
i had that happen in one of my travel trailers it was a small stone under the slide wheel that caused it. I ended up super gluing the tear, making sure the edges where stuck well and it held up nicely
I tried using the yardstick and strong flashlight but cannot find anything that could have caused. Sure hope it is covered under warrenty as unit is only a few months old.
I have the same problem with my 24B. As the slide moves in the bottom of the dinette gets closer to the floor. When it was new, two months ago, the front corner would get within about 1/4". I hadn't noticed but over time it must have been settling until last week when it made contact. I don't know what the fix for the flooring will be since it is installed before the body is put on. Haven't talked to my dealer yet.
Wow, that's bad, and it shouldn't sag this soon, or at all..
Wifey put a rug runner down the middle of the coach, that runs under the slide when it comes in. Hopefully this will either protect the floor or give me a heads up, as the slide moves the rug, if mine sags like that.

Just be careful of allowing the slide to go over a runner. I've seen instances where the runner gets snagged on the slide when putting it out causing a different set of problems.
Our Seneca was showing signs of something under the slide. I bought a piece of metal and lay it on the floor when we close the slide. At first I thought one of the dinette screws was a little to long because with the slide in it leaves a mark in the metal that looks like the tip of the self drilling screws used. This has been going on now for a year and we can't find anything.
