I was sweating it yesterday. 70mph + winds all day with the 5th wheel covered. The wife and I figured our unit would be paint less or damaged for sure. We pulled off the cover today and the shine actually looked better than when we put it away. And O% percent damage. The cover still looks brand new with no damage at all. We went through to hurricanes in Florida with Class A's and the Goldline covers without a problem. I don't recommend covers on the 5th wheels though with the weak rolled tin on the bottom sections of the unit and strapping them under the bottom. I think the only thing that saved us, was having heavy auger stakes, heavy bungee cords, and heavy deflapper's along both sides every 6'. And several stakes with spring loaded straps over the roof. I think I'm going to retire my testing though and forget the cover. More winds tomorrow, possibly 50mph Gusts, but at least no more stress with the cover off!
