Hello,
Looking for some help or advice. I have a 2021 27RS 5ver and it has the lippert leveling system (two front jacks and two rear). The issue is, when the app on my phone says there is a firmware update I update it and both times after a successful update the system errors out when trying to auto level. Back in August the people at Lippert helped walk me though it, this time they were rude and wouldn't even try and help. Part of what they told me before was to get on the app and lower all jacks down about 6 inches and hit retract all and that fixed it just fine until now. Now, it's the left rear jack can't be controlled by the app and won't move up or down, all others will. Also, I only have the small controller (5 button) in my storage bay that operates the system, I don't have a touch screen on the inside either. The very small inside controller has no control over the jacks. The error on the phone app says "Leveling System Requires Re-Homing" Any suggestions on this? Should I delete the app and re-load it? Is there some way to re-set it without having to connect the truck to retract all once I get it figured out, this is ridiculous.

Thank You
Mike

The following is the reset/rehome procedure I was sent by Jayco: YMMV

Good luck

"Good Afternoon,
Please follow instructions below first and then follow zero point instructions attached.

1. run each jack individually down at least 6 inches , make sure the correct jack runs. Left front is driver side front(ODS).
2. Once all jacks are correct unplug one jack to induce an error.
3. In error more re-plug jack
4. Hit retract all on controller
5. The system should home itself and clear error once it is complete.
6. Now you can set zero point. (attached)

Thanks for the reply, I think that's exactly what I did the first time and it worked. But this time the right rear jack won't move at all so the procedure won't work. The only way to move individual jacks is with the phone app and I can move all three other jacks but not the one.

My problem was rezeroing and they suggested this rehoming first. (ended up nothing worked as some sensor wires were crossed).

You have probably tried everything, but I do have problems with individual jacks, awning, slide, etc...not wanting to work with the app. I often have to 'move something else' and then go back to the item I originally tried. When I have had the problem that has always 'jumpstarted' the frozen item. No explanation as to why.

I don't think I can be of more help.
Good Luck

Hi Seattlegolfer,
Scroll down to the bottom of this page and see all the help videos from TeamBMPro.
See this page from eTrailer that explains How to Reset Zero Point Calibration on Lippert Ground Control 3.0
See this link - it's the Lippert Owner's Manual for the lift system... check out the troubleshooting section.
Please post if a problem still remains or what you did to fix it.

Last weekend I just had a problem where one of my front jacks wouldn't move at all and the system errored out. Turned out that one of the two wiring harness plugs that connect to the jack was unplugged. Must not have been fully seated from the factory (stunning, I know).

Make sure you check the two plugs at the jack and also at the controller in the front bay. Might even want to unseat and reseat them in case their is a contact issue.

I had the same issue. Drove me nuts until I checked the wire at the jack and the plug was so loose it fell out. It was the freaking plug all along. Good Luck.
