Coleman Mach AC dripping
First time on our 2019 355mbqs, air conditioner in the bedroom is dripping water. We're on the Texas coast, humidity is 100%. Been here before but never dripped. Woke up and was about an 8 ounce glass of water soaked into the bedspread. Normal condensation or possibly drain lines plugged up?

Sounds like a clogged drain or possibly loose / over tightened mounting bolts allowing water to enter under the gasket. Water should never enter the interior under normal conditions.

I have the same camper and have occasionally had the same issue. Has only happened when humidity is extremely high and both ACs have run extensively. I've checked drains, etc. and all of then are fine. What it seems to be is the air coming out of the vent is so cold, it is making condensation at the vent on the unit itself. We keep our dump valve/power cool closed and force air into the main duct system, so not sure if that contributes or not, but it definately helps cool the whole unit faster that way.

Thanks for that. That's what I'm thinking also. So humid here 100% and in the 80s.

That can happen if you don't have the fan running on high speed.

Have you checked the mounting bolts to make sure they are not loose? Just remove the cover and they are on the 4 corners. ~CA

I run it on high cool during the day, low cool at night. Not on auto. Could be the culprit.

FYI, tighten them evenly and only a little at a time, I believe the torque recommendations are around 40~50" "inch" pounds which isn't a whole lot, in any case, just snug them all down if they are not already but don't over tighten them as doing so can damage to the A/C seal (gasket). These same bolts have loosened up for many Rv'rs including myself and when they do, that allows for the seal to leak rain and\or condensate inside the RV. The seal is also replaceable, although I wouldn't think that would be needed for most RV's, mine is 12 years old and the seal (from the edge view) looks just fine. ~CA

Our front AC leaked during a heavy rain in February. Dealer got it in right away and found loose bolts/rolled gasket. Maybe this is more common than the dealer made it out to be...

The bolts on my rig were lose, so I carefully tightened each in sequence. This cured the condensate water intrusion around the roof gasket

Had that happen to me as well and when I pulled the cover off the unit on the inside, I noticed the foam plenum was out of position letting the heat and cool air mix causing the drip. May want to check that the foam is in place.
