I had the same problem with the door, took it to the dealer and they rehung the door. It wasn't hung properly from the factory.

Dry lube has helped tremendously in our 19 317RLOK. Door was hard to close and open. With a little adjustment and generous amount of lube, it is working great now.

New door got put in today and it works like a champ. No slamming to get it to latch. We can even pull the handle and the door latches shut. Hopefully the road won't have any negative impact on it.

Had to have my entry door replaced because the door & frame were toast from the factory....., at times it wouldn't allow one to exit the TT.

A new door & frame, and a little camber adjustment took care of my problems.

Door latch

in 2016 we bought a new Precept with same issue After a few times returning to fix this issue along with other items they did end up replacing the door
It now works much better unless it is setting in the sun all day. We then have an issue getting it to open!

This sums it all up. This is the way they adjusted car doors 50 years ago. How about just hanging the door plumb?

I don't slam the door shut on mine.
I open the latch then press on the door then release the latch.

when we got our 2018 North Point the door wouldn't close when you pushed it; you had to open the latch and press the door closed for it to latch. I ended up removing the latch from the door, dissembling it and cutting a coil or two from the latch spring until it closed properly. The spring they used was just too firm.

I had a similar issue, I took the latch apart and lubed the mechanism with a lube spray. Works great now.
