Yeah, I totally expected ours to be like that, but it definitely is not.

We went 1000 miles to get this unit, and on the way home, we were making ice cubes, and the only source of water was our fresh water TANK, not jug. Yeah, I was totally shocked when it was working that way, as I didn't expect that to be the case.

So, one thing that I have not checked, however, is how it is all plumbed. I noticed just the other day (looking for something else) that we have a water shutoff to the fridge behind the televator, which is coming from the main water system. I wonder if we shut that off that valve, if we pull water for both the fridge and spigot from the fresh water system? OR, is there another valve somewhere that I haven't found that I need to shut off / on that will divert water from the main system to the fresh water system?

Heck, at this point, I don't even know if the fresh water system even works because it's never had a drop of water in it, nor do I know what it will serve if we were to ever use it...
