kitchen sink clogged

Second time out, and the kitchen sink all of the sudden will not drain. I tried to use the plunger but no luck. I noticed that that I have a grey1 and grey2 button in the indicator panel, one button lights up 1 light but the other button lights up all 4 lights. Is there 2 grey tanks and where would that second release lever be? I also read on the owners manual that there might be a dry sealing valve in the drain which can be damaged if i was to use a snake. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like your galley grey tank is full. I don’t know how your trailer is set up but on my north point, I have a grey valve for the bathroom in the docking station and a grey valve for the galley (kitchen sink) under the frame behind the tires.

Magnolia Tom, my bathroom sink and shower drains ok and I opened the grey lever to the left of the main drain spout and felt and heard the water draining down the hose. I have no problem with the bathroom drains just the kitchen sink. I have no way of knowing if their is a second grey tank just two grey switches in the indicator panel, one lights up one light and the other has all four lights lit. I can't see how such a small camper would have/need 2 grey tanks. Thanks.

If you have 2 tank indicators you have 2 tanks. The 4 lights tell you it's full. What model?

If you have 2 gauges for grey tanks, then you’ve got 2 tanks. Looking up your trailer online shows you have 65 gallons of grey capacity. Probably a 40 gallon for bathroom/shower and a 25 for kitchen. Keep looking for the second valve.

Grumpy, it's a 2014 jayco ht 23.5 rbs. If it has two tanks where is the second grey lever? I looked at the rear of the camper and found one black and one grey lever. Thanks.

Look closer to the middle of the camper where the kitchen is located

X-2; I'm guessing right in front of the axles.

Thanks Magnolia Tom and Grumpy, the camper is at the storage lot about 35 minutes drive so checking right now is not possible. Is it possible that they just used a 2 grey tank indicator panel in all units whether they have one or two tanks. This is great if that is the case. Does anyone have a 2014 23.5 rbs that know for sure if their is two grey tanks. Thanks.

In 45 yrs I've never seen that done. If you only had one tank your shower would be backed up too.

1 65 gal tank would be pretty big for that size unit too.

Grumpy and Magnolia Tom, I just thought that maybe, they might use the same panel on all units whether they have one or two tanks simply to save money. Having to produce just one panel instead of two would be easier and cheaper, so i thought that maybe the pipe was just clogged. Great, all I have too do is find the second lever for that grey tank. Thanks again.

They do use the same panel for different units but not all the panels get all the “parts” added to them.

When i get a chance i will go to the storage compound and check for a second grey lever closer to the front by the axles and hopefully that is the problem. Easy fix if it is, thanks again.

When we had the PDI, apparently the dealer didn't know about the second gray water tank because we were not told. For us, the pull is right in front of the tires and not in the utility compartment. We found it quite by accident.

From what I’m reading here it’s highly likely that you do have two grey tanks. I once had a unit with two grey tanks. It had a rear kitchen. The main grey and black tank valve levers were in front of the wheels. However, the second grey tank lever (the one for the kitchen) was “hidden” in a small storage compartment at the rear of the unit (near the kitchen). I believe you do have two grey tanks and that you just need to locate the valve lever for your second grey tank. It’s there somewhere, you just need to find it so you can empty your second grey tank. Good luck!

Just another sad case of the dealer not doing a thorough walkthrough.

Perhaps a call to the previous owner would reveal the hidden lever.

Thanks everyone, it's seems that may very well be the case, that their is two grey tanks. When i find time i will go to the storage compound and look for it. I hate snaking pipes. Thanks again.

There's two gray tanks. #1 is your kitchen, #2 is your bathroom sink and shower. All pull drain valves are on drivers side. You'll find maybe just under one of your slides. Good luck in your handle search.
