I have Gulf Waters on my bucket list. Maybe I'll make it someday.

The 377 is our condo, lol!! Although I would like to have a beach condo myself. That way I wouldn’t have to do all the work of towing to the destination, setup, tank flushing, etc., just get there and turn on the lights [emoji3]

Not knocking it I like PCB but that only works if you rent one from someone else. From 1992 to 2004 I had four and my family had nine more. Since I was a general contractor I spent all my time every trip working on mine or one of my family members. I got tired of that so I sold all but one and don't go but a couple times of year so I could camp more.

Sounds familiar...I’m always having to work on family’s properties myself

If you have a 17 version mine are under the wood trim surrounding the fireplace.

So, I'd have to pull the wood trim off to get to the screws, right?

Just 1" from top of metal on each side. There is a small indentation and the screws go into the side surround.

I have some 1/4" angle welded in as a frame crossmember to both front and rear hangers. Would an additional one be of benefit at the center - similar to the Lippert adjustable crossmember?

When upgrading equalizers, i think MorRyde includes or suggests adding the X factor brace. I added it to my trailer when I did the wet bolts for extra stability. I’m not certain of any “real” benefits but adding an extra angle iron, or MorRyde X factor brace can’t hurt (at least that’s what I tell myself [emoji3])

Tom, I would bet you're right. If you look at the picture from Moryde about their crossmember, it shows 3 positions. Hangers and center of shackles. I'll be cheap and weld in some more angle when I do the wet bolts as well. See link - Performance Crossmembers by MORryde - MORryde Products

I have the MorRydr cross member as wel. Not sure if any benefit but since Jayco put a crossmember on the front and rear hangers, figured a center one could not hurt.

So the angle iron is possibly OEM? Just curious.

Ditto as Tom. Angle iron welded from the factory on the hangers.

Looking for a little assist.....

My new Sailun's arrived last week, so today I pulled the wheels off (one at a time) and took the old China Bombs to my local dealer who mounted and balanced the Sailuns.... All went well, until the fourth wheel. I had a lug nut that took 45+ minutes to get off. It appears that they cross threaded it putting it on with an airgun at the factory (this is the first I pulled any wheels) but since it tightened, they just snugged it up and shipped it...

I've pulled the brake drum, and popped out the damaged stud. Now I need a replacement. Does anyone know the spec for the lug stud? I took everything to a local auto parts store, and they said that they needed to know make and model to match it. I called a buddy who just left a service job at Albany RV/ RV One, and he says that they don't stock them there. He gave me a suggestion, but I'm looking to see if any of you have any ideas.....

BTW - My local tire dealer is primarily a Goodyear dealer, and the manager was completely impressed by how heavy duty the Sailuns are. Said that Goodyear has a 14-ply, but nowhere near that heavy. Then I told him that they were $152 each at Simple Tire........ You should have seen the look....
