I had the same issue last year. I took it into the dealer to fix under warrantee and they told me the issue on my rig was one the rollers under the kitchen slide was froze up. It was not lubed from the factory. This caused resistance so one side would move slower and then it would get racked and stop moving. They replaced a roller and all is well.
I looked for the rollers when the slide is out. There are 4 or 5 of them and are about an 1" in diameter and 3" long. You can lift the seal to see them. If it happens again, I plan on checking them.
Question, does anyone have a idea on get the weight off them to check or service?
I would place a 1’ X 1’ 3/4” plywood under the slide to spread the load. Take a 4X 4 post and cut to length with a bottle jack to take the weight off the rollers. Do not need much. If you need to do the middle I would put one at both ends, maybe a foot or two in from the end. That’s just one way. You just need to support the weight. I’m sure someone else may chime in with another way.

Thank you for the recommendation to look at that. I saw them and know exactly where to look.
I also saw in the LCI troubleshooting guides them talking about taking the weight off those. They show the rails having to come out first and then you can lift the slide with a jack. See the LCI guides on their support website for the exact prescription.
Just started having the same issue, the kitchen slide would come out and in uneven until today. One side would completely stopped.
Luckily, there was an RV repair guy at the camper next to us so I walked over and asked him to come take a look. He said just run it in an inch and then out holding the button for about four seconds after it is fully extended. Do that 4 times. Worked like a charm, it’s now in sync.
It will stop by itself when it jams and one motor overloads. Will it hurt it? I don't know, but it's happened to us many times with no permanent damage.
