Water under shower into floor

This past trip we noticed a little bit of water coming out from under the shower. It’s not much. Maybe a few tablespoons at most. Is there anyway I can get underneath and check it out without tearing too much up? Is this something I should have the dealer take care of. My warranty runs out in January and I have no other issues going on.

IMO, YES, have the DEALER take care of it. Anytime water is someplace you don't want it, it can be a serious issue, especially in an RV. Also, you just found the leak so you really don't know if it was leaking for some time into a hidden area.

couldn't agree more. Get it covered under your warranty, there may be a hairline crack in your shower surround and if there is, its much better to have the dealer document and correct the problem. A friend just took delivery of a new toy hauler and on his initial inspection the dealer found a crack. His was a 1 piece shower so it was extremely labor intensive to correct it.

I echo the other statements because hidden water leaks are no fun. Have the warranty work done. Make copies of everything so if problems keep happening long after your warranty expires you have record of all repairs.

There should be an access panel to the plumbing under the shower. It could be something as simple as a loose drain fitting under the shower. Its happened before, either its not tightened properly or works its way loose.

Warranty for sure as that is a one piece unit and limited to no access to the plumbing. My guess is the faucet connections could be your culprit there.

In the basement behind the water panel is where the drain comes down and you should be able to see the whole thing through the cutout. Check the basement too.

It may be coming from under the shower OR, it could be leaking from the door. The seal on the bottom of many of the glass doors fail after a few years (or sooner) and it allows a small to large amount of water to run onto the floor. It has happened to us and I also thought it was coming from under the shower. I did caulk the shower where it hits the floor so any water could not cause issues. I also am working on the seal issue..

Good Luck.
