21 Seneca 37TS Amplifier Install Help

I need some help understanding the chassis DC power system and where to tie into power for amplifier and subwoofer.

I am installing the amplifier under passenger seat and the active subwoofer under the driver seat. I have the signal and speaker connections figured out. I am trying determine best place for power. It seems the best route for positive power is through the cab rear step directly to the battery compartment.

In the battery compartment, I am not exactly sure which terminal to connect to. There is a large 300amp fuse at the top of the compartment where the house batteries connect. I also see a switch with connections labeled Batt-A and Batt-B. I assume this is the crossover switch between chassis and house batteries.

Should I tie into house batteries or chassis batteries? If I tie to house batteries, where is the main shutoff so I can tie in downstream of it?

Where is the best terminal to connect power? Off the 300amp fuse pole?

Well I kinda depends if you only want to run them while driving or also use it when set up camping...if only while driving I would power from chassis batteries but to use while camping I would power from house batteries so you don’t take a chance of draining the chassis batteries. I have added several things that needed power from different places but finally just added a whole new fuse panel for accessories wired directly to the house batteries that is ran through a circuit breaker that I can shut off if needed. I mounted mine in a compartment on the passenger side and also added a 110 outlet and usb/12v outlets. Unless things have changed since our 2018.5, to get power out of the cab to under the chassis, run the cab seats all the way forward and check behind them. They run the wiring for the power seats out through way to big of holes, so you can run wires out here if needed, if not, these need to be sealed up anyway
