All Season

Good day. I currently have a ‘13 Greyhawk it is what I call an all season motorhome. Not having to drain tanks in cold temperatures. We would like to upgrade to a Seneca eventually but I’ve read where they are not all seasons. Is this the case or have I read incorrectly? Thanks.

No they are not 4 season coaches but with a little work they can be. I have ran heat to the bays that are needed, insulated all the water lines below the floor, and cut n access panel behind the water heater to get in behind it and insulate the pipes and around the water heater. We have camped in 10 degree weather for 3-4 days with no issues. Before I insulated behind the water heater we did have issues with the water heater supply line freezing but could quickly thaw by running the generator as the line was warmed from the heat. It’s all fun Nd games until your gas furnace quits at 2am in 10 degree weather while boondocking At lease I was carrying the spare parts to get it running again.

Thank you for the reply. I would assume the Accolade is the same way since it is basically the same motorhome.

Here are some other discussions on the topic...

One item to note... Our solution is very dependent on AC power (Gen or 50A) and we have survived some extended stays in single digit temperatures. If our solution were built around Propane heat, we would need to be refilling tanks every third day (with extra tanks too)

We did basically the same with our 08 SENECA using the 150 Watt personal heaters from Wal-Mart. Had one in the utility bay and one in the storage compartment by the water tank.

Brian,

What spare parts do you recommend for the furnace?

I carry a spare Sail switch and High Limit switch. I have had both fail already.
I usually order from https://pdxrvwholesale.com/ as I have found them to have excellent prices.
