I have a Thetford Sani-con turbo 700 macerator installed on my 2021 Seneca 37K. I would possibly like to install a shutoff valve or remove the hose completely. Question is the nipple on the side of the tank for the hose is it glued or threaded on the tank side?
I have seen them installed with a glued on fitting and a screwed on fitting from the factory, just depends on the way Jayco wanted to do it that day. Ours was a screwed in barbed hose fitting and I just removed the hose and capped it with a Fernco rubber cap. Here are a couple threads on removing the Macerator, I removed mine, hated the smell and never used it. Make the wet bay much nicer.
