Jay Feather 25RB with a Norcold Refrigerator

I have seen both Dometic and Norcold gas/elect refrigerators (and 12v only Furrions) in 2021 Jay Feather models.

I ordered a 25RB and requested the factory put in a Norcold gas/elect refrigerator if possible (no additonal cost).

Did anyone get the Norcold gas/elect 6 cu. ft. refridgerator in their 2020-21 25RB?

If yes, did you request it as part of your order or did it just come that way?

We bought our unit “off the lot” and it had a 8 cubic foot Norcold gas/electric fridge. It has struggled on hot days. A inside the fridge fan really helped it. I also added an outside fan, but by the time I got it put on, it was cooler weather and I didn’t need it. Jay

What year and model number is your Jayco?
I think Jay Feather 25RB gas/elect refrigerators come only in 6 cu. ft.

It’s a 2020 Jay Flight 24RBS. The camper is in storage, so I can’t get a model number off the fridge. I know our old camper had a 6 cubic foot Dometic and this one is way bigger. Jay

Thank you. To clarify, the year and model number of your Jayco TT was my question and you answered it.

Nice you have the larger 8 cu. ft. Norcold in your Jay Flight. The 2020-21 Jay Feather 25RB in gas/elect, only comes in a 6 cu. ft. size. It will have either a Dometic or possibly a Norcold refrigerator.

My original post was mostly to get replies from 2020-21 Jay Feather 25RB owners who might possibly have the 6 cu. ft. Norcold gas/elect. refrigerator.

I found this dealer’s 2021 Jay Feather 25RB with the Norcold 6 cu. ft. gas/elect refrigerator. Good to know it is possible to get this refrigerator but the Dometic brand appears to be more common.

I am awaiting delivery on my 25RB and I went with the 8 cu ft refrigerator not knowing it was electric only! How much battery is it going to suck up on a regular weekend trip?!?!
