Chances are the charger will make your battery start to boil and the water will evaporate.
Oh geez....now that is scary. How long will it take for that to happen? I just checked and there is water in the holes. Not full to the top though. I wish my husband would take care of this stuff....ha ha ha

if it is above the plates and you can see them under water I would wait until charge is on green before you top it off

Don't fill to the top! Do like paintinfool said.
Just below the bottom of the "well" once it's charged.

If it were me I would take the charger off once the battery was charged. it should stay charged for months if there is no use. And the battery is still healthy.

While searching the basement for safety goggles I came across a battery tender. Wish hubby told me we had one geez....anyway I decided to hook this one up instead because it is smaller and put it on the 2amp charge. How long should I expect it to take?

Great! Thank you. I hope it works and the battery is not dead forever.

no problem and good luck .... I am sure it will be ok mine have been dead before and came back up with a slow charge , in fact the one in our new camper when it was in for warranty work at dealer last year was left hooked up and was completely dead when I picked it up. It came back up fine
