SWL in trailer

Just started a new hobby as I bought portable SW radio. Anybody have ideas for stringing longwire antenna while camping, to receive shortwave?

Have a 25RKS and was thinking just a wire on the roof, as I have access by stairs.

I have this setup on my OFF-ROAD POPUP trailer for picking up HDTV using a BATWING antenna. This idea should work great for you as well just mounting a PVC pole up the side of the trailer.

I also have a fold-up two five foot sections of small TV tower mounted to my rear bumper frame. This gets me up around 20 feet above my main frame. I use this to hold up my OFF-CENTER Ham radio setup above my trailer then pull up the two ends up into some close by trees. Sort of an INVERTER VEE setup.

Sorry no pictures PHOTOBUCKET ate up alot of my pictures and I haven't got to come up with new photos yet...

This floorplan drawing shows several ways I use my OFF-ROAD trailer for my Ham Radio Operations... I have external Antenna capabilities for HF long wire, HF screwdriver, VHF/UHF, and HDTV...

Got to keep up with my Ham radio when off-grid somewhere...
