Why did my 30A battery fuse blow?

I was hooked up to 15A service and may have used a bit too much power all at once, but no breakers tripped so I'm assuming I was OK. Went to hitch on to leave and my electric tongue jack wouldn't work - checked the 30A fuse and it was blown. If my power draw was too high for the 15A power source, would that somehow blow the fuse for the tongue jack? I don't know why/how it happened.

Funny same thing happened to me yesterday. It turned out my truck battery was low, because I left the door open. When I started the truck I assume it pulled power from the trailer battery and blew the fuse. I shut the truck off and could not start it again. Thats when I found the blown fuse.
