We're off to the Tucson / Lazy Days KOA in Tucson, AZ for a few days in the Arizona sun. It will be in the 90's the days we are there...no Winterizing for us. This KOA is one of the finest in the country and this will be our 4th trip to this park.

Deception Pass State Park, Wa.
I was too late in booking a res. (September) for this late in the year so I’m not at waters edge. Last year I had my choice of at least half of the waters edge. I usually book two spaces for the extra room (grandkids ) bikes and their tents (2) again, this is not my spot this year.

Yep. No camping here in the near future. It's mostly melted now, but this was our little dusting last week.

Next trip plan is to head South the day after Christmas. Visiting St. Augustine, Fl. , staying at Compass RV Resort for a few days. Then over to see friends in The Villages hooking up at Sunkissed Villages Resort. Side trip to Siesta Key and other places TBD.
Then back north to Coastal Georgia RV Resort to explore the sea islands near Brunswick.
Last leg back to the barn in central SC. All plans subject to change due to this horrible pandemic.....

While you are in St. Augustine, get yourself a meal at Cuccina Giovanni's over by the outlet mall on 16. It is just about my favorite restaurant on the entire east coast.

Just returned from Pickerel Point at Promised Land State Park in PA. It's a very nice state park campground.

A week from tomorrow we are headed to Surprise AZ for 2 to 3 months. Yippee! This is our first "Snowbird" experience. We have started loading the coach. Pulling a 2020 North Point, 310RLS. We are very happy with it. Going to take 4 days to get there from KCMO. Will drive about 325 miles per day.

We are looking forward to relocating to a much cooler climate than where we are currently in Southern California. Our next winters we will be planning some snow bird trips to either places at friends in arizona, or up in Monterey county back country areas to large property owned by friends there with all the free hook ups i want and for however lomg i wish to stay. Almost done with jeep set up for extra tow vehicle so for Christmas weekend we will be spending our time at Wagon Wheel dry camping area off Trona road near Ridgecrest for some utv offroad exploring further around Trona areas before we leave this state.

One of my favorite places! Can’t beat the Marriott on the beach.
