I built this little end table. It’s a great place to put stuff when watching tv or having a nap on the couch.

Sounds like a good idea. Do you have a picture?

Hiker, I’m sorry but I do not. Next time I’m in the 5th I’ll try to remember to take a pic.

I've done many - mostly ones I have seen here but by far my most useful would have to be my Progressive Industries installed EMS. It has worked its magic multiple times in low voltage situations...

Hiker,
This link to an old post has a pic of the reel. It’s not mine but I did mine exactly like this:

Go to the mods to 377 thread and you can see lots of mods with pictures. There's enough on there to keep you busy and broke for a long time.

Not on the trailer but it pulls it.

By far my absolute FAVORITE is the auxiliary fuel tank.

I can stop where I want and when I want. I do not have to worry about gas station overhang's or people cutting you off and blocking you in.

X2. And the next-best mod is the defibrillator for when you see the diesel bill after filling up. But worth it.

I am adding an addendum to this post. We sold our Jayco for a more deluxe package. Pretty much I got my wish list camper. It has a lot of bells and whistles but missing shelves in the pantry and shelves in the bathroom. Home Depot has custom made slide out shelves and I found an over the toilet free stand shelving unit. Once I get the measurements I think this will be a done deal camper. Would like to remove the microwave for a convection microwave/oven. Otherwise, I am excited to have a camper that has what I am really looking for. I love my jayco TT but it is a basic model and taught me well and made me look to what I needed for a more modern TT. Can't wait to try it out this weekend.

What he ^^^^ said if we're including tow vehicles. Plus, by planning ahead, most times I can fill when site-seeing, disconnected from the trailer, and pick the station I want to buy fuel from.

Would you have a pic of those shelves for the bath. We could use the extra storage? Thanks

So, it's basically, a big L section, with plenty of open space. And, a small three layer shoe rack right by the entry door.

And, we removed the upper bunk from the bunk area. That's the wife's bed, and I take the living room bed. Each has upgraded foam mattresses.

Wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea, but it works perfectly for us.

Would love to see some pics of your 26BH front and rear bunk mods if you would be willing to share a few photos of your hard work. Sounds very impressive.

My best mod has to be the 5- 100 watt solar panels in conjunction with the 2000 watt/4000 watt surge power inverter. This enables me to roll down the highway with electrical power on, and have almost unlimited off grid, generator-less power 24/7. This keeps my fridge off my propane tank thus extending my propane tank life to almost all summer. Leaving the hot water tank off the 1st day of camping helped with this too. Next will be increasing my battery bank from 4 deep cycle 6v's to 6-deep cycle 6v's. Right now my AC can run directly off the solar panels on hot days (thank goodness for the small window AC unit). When choosing an inverter, make sure you get a "Pure Sine Wave" so your Microwave doesn't groan with inefficiency. My next best "MOD" would have to be adding a boat cleat above my fresh water tank inlet, to a wall stud, enabling me to hang my Katadyn 3 gallon Bass camp gravity flow water purification filter so I can refill my fresh water tank from streams or lakes. Endless filtered fresh water while boon-docking is essential.

Just getting started with a new trailer, but I have done a couple of mods. First was adding the backup camera, easy enough since the trailer was pre-wired with the bracket already.

Second mod is a shore power meter inside the door to the power center, so I can see voltage, amps, watts, and frequency. Helps me keep an eye on power use when I am on generator with the 15kbtu AC running.

Bought and am getting ready to install MaxxAir vent covers for the roof fans, maybe a job for this weekend.

We ended up selling the Jayco Swift for a bunk bed model clipper coachman. It is bigger and roomier and I could not be happier with it. Although it came with a pantry with out shelves or anything in the bathroom except a toilet and surround bathtub. I got a really nice shower curtain and an over the toilet free standing shelving unit. It looks like it was made for this room. We built it and secured it to the back wall in three places and the shelves I got were black chrome metal shelves for the pantry. Could not use the third shelf so it is going somewhere. Where I don't know yet. Otherwise, the camper we just bought is loaded with featured I was dreaming of. I will try to figure out how to post pics of the new bathroom. As for another sink that is missing in the bathroom we decided to put a table behind the camper which has the outside shower will use that with a bowl and soap for people to wash up with and not distrub me cooking. An old fashioned wash bowl idea. Can't wait to go camping and try out some of these new features.
