Vacuum breaker check valves

Recently upon de-winterizing my jayco eagle 29.5BHDS I noticed water running out of the bottom of the trailer. I followed the leak up into the shower valves. Behind these valves is the vacuum breaker check valve( stupid spot in my eyes). How many does this unit have, and how do you prevent these from breaking. Winterized using RV antifreeze. Any help would be appreciated.

That should be your vacuum breaker for your black flush. All my RV's I remove those and install a brass check valve on the inlet connection. Very problematic.

Unless you pump antifreeze in the black flush or blow out really good they are prone to freezing. Still need to do either if you install a brass check valve.

Update!!! After calling numerous RV dealerships in my area to find a new B&B 571 breaker, which nobody seems to carry, I decided to take it all apart myself. I found what we call a “stink Bug” stuck in the check valve. It was hardened and crusted, causing the valve not to be able to close, thus creating the leak I noticed. It had nothing to do with improper winterization as I originally thought. Thanks for all who added their suggestions.
