You'll never regret it!! I made the mistake of buying a new RAM SRW when I bought my North Point. Towed the North Point 250 miles from the dealer to home in a 20 MPH side wind. As soon as we got home I bought a new RAM dually. That was about a $15,000 lesson because of the loss on the SRW. I would never ever pull a fifth wheel in the North Point or Pinnacle class with anything but a one ton DRW...........JMHO

Good to know. We're going with a 2019 F350 XL. Should have it Monday.
Thank you for your experience.

Hi all, I have been reading through on your comments on your tow vehicles. We currently have a bumper pull 2016 white hawk 32dsbh. about 7k+. We are looking to get a 5er with the mid bunk set up. so we can have the rear living situation. tired of the view being blocked by the fridge and all. Any way we are looking at the 30.5MBOK (11kish)and the 355MBQS (14kish) Leaning towards the MBQS.
I currently have a 2016 F250 6.5'bed with bags (I cant take any sag). I feel pretty good about these and my truck. I was looking at a North Point but realized the weight may be an issue and you guys pretty well confirmed that. So....Any one pulling an Eagle of this size with a 250 srw? Also Im looking at 5er hitches and it seems i'll need a automatic slider for the turning radius.

Any pointers appreciated.

Thanks!

I started pulling our NP 377RLBH with my Ram 2500 with airbags and the B&W Campanion Manual slider. It pulled fine, but I just never felt comfortable, so I upgraded TV to a 3500 DRW. It was the best decision I ever made! Had a blow out on the inner dually last summer & a blowout on the 5er..all in the same trip! I've never been happier to have a DRW in all my life! I think you can do it...as I did it for a little while, but you'll never be fully comfortable.

Traded in 2010 F350 dually ( which pulled 2019 377RLBH) just fine, for 2020 F350 SRW. The new truck pulls RV great. Typically we have RV loaded to the max. Plus the mileage with new truck was much better.

Towing advice

Just throwing it out there for comments / suggestions:
Looking at purchasing a 377RLBH. Current TV is a 2016 F250 SD SRW 6.7 Diesel.
What should I expect in the way of smooth or rough ride, possible under power, suspension issues or any other pitfalls. Been reading the thread and it seems like the way to go would be with an F350 DRW or any other dual rear wheel drive vehicle.
Looking for some guidance.
Thanks in advance.

My guess is that the 3000+ pin weight of the 377RLBH will be too much for your F250. Check your yellow tag on the inside drivers door for your payload capacity. The engine would probably have no issue pulling.

I'm in the opposite boat, plenty of payload (4350lbs) for my 382FLRB but the 6.4 gas engine struggles on bigger hills. So yesterday I ordered a 2022 Ram 3500 DRW HO Diesel!

Pulling a 339flqs, 12k range as I camp, I pull with a 20' 2500hd. The stability is fine I have a Curt slider but have not needed to use that function in over 20k of towing.
