Not yet, I honestly never gave campgrounds a thought. It’s still snowing and cold here so it’s not been on our minds. Most of our campgrounds are still “closed” and the water is turned off.

I have only heard of the one in GA.

I think quarantine is like everything else, it is better when camping.

I tried to book a weekend camping trip for this past weekend and found that every campground within 80 miles of us in Alabama was full.

The experts are all saying to go outdoors and open the doors and windows as much as possible. There have been several articles stating RV sales may spike even more because of the virus.

So they may not be closed, just impossible to get a ressie.

It seems likely that CGs associated with crowd pulling attractions or events are likely to shut down, and commercial parks like KOA might close as a precaution, or because their staff are unavailable.

On the other hand, most state and national parks offer a fair degree of isolation. The only real reason to close them might be to use them as mass quarantine centres.

Problem with a lot of State Parks are the common areas. Nature Centers, hiking trail handrails, shelter houses and gift shops, bait shops, and anywhere people frequent would be a contamination issue. I wouldn’t be shocked if they shut them down.

New Mexico, it seems strange that they are open during the day but don't allow camping.

We have confirmed reservations at 2 parks this coming week. Both state or federal. No word on closings.

We figure we will be more isolated camping than at home.

We only have one trip planned but only because the wife had a hip replacement on Jan. 30th and she's getting the knee replaced in May. It's a little tough for her to climb in and out of the TT.

I had my right knee replaced in September, went camping in November. Came home and had the left knee replaced in December. Get my shoulder fixed this spring then I’ll be ready to retire. Someone that had a hip and a knee replaced said the knee took longer to recover from. Good luck to her.

We heard the same thing about the knee, both replacements are on the same leg. Our one trip planned is before the knee surgery.

We have a trip planned for next month. I received a email from Virginia State Parks stating they are open, but watching the situation.

Between April 22nd & the end of December, we have 27 different RV parks reserved. So far none of them have notified us of a possible closure. I can't think of a better place to be during these times.

They are cancelling events in Missouri, so far we can still camp.

Out of caution, park and site events and programs sponsored by Missouri State Parks are postponed or cancelled now through April 30. We’re closely monitoring the progression of COVID-19 and its effect in Missouri. We’re sorry for any inconvenience; however, your safety is our top priority.

Campendium has started a page that is showing closures by state. Also came across this site too.

We are currently camped in Sebastian Inlet State Park, Florida. We were just informed around 5 PM that all Florida State parks are closing Friday 3/20/20. Our reservation was thru March 24, but were told that we must be out by 1 pm this Friday. We also had a reservation in St Augustine starting Tuesday 3/24, informed that that reservation was terminated by the State.

Spoke to ReserveAmerica but they are not aware & are still taking reservations for Florida SPs next week. We are scrambling for reservations for Friday thru next week outside of Florida as we are headed to James Island County park, SC the following weekend.

Should be a fun adventure
